UCNCBA APIARY ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNIFICATION


I understand that participation in beekeeping and related activities involves inherent and foreseeable risks , including but not limited to bee stings (which may cause severe allergic reactions) , the unpredictable behavior of honeybees (including defensive responses and stinging without warning) , exposure to environmental conditions, uneven terrain, and the use of tools and equipment. I understand these risks cannot be eliminated and I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, property damage, or death , whether known or unknown.


In exchange for being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Union County NC Beekeepers Association, Inc., Wingate University, Union County Government, the apiary host site, instructors, volunteers, and individual hive owners (including Lucky Bee LLC and its representatives) (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims or liability , including those arising from…
